Grade 4's New Tradition: A Formal Lunch

On December 11, our Grade 4 students and teachers started a new WIS Tradition: the Grade 4 formal lunch! Students dressed in their finest clothes and enjoyed a special lunch in the gym, where tables had been elaborately decorated. The students had created their own place cards so they could find their seats, and they were treated to table service and sparkling water in fancy glasses. 

Students remarked on the calm, relaxing atmosphere, which felt different than their usual lunch experiences. They enjoyed the conversations with their teachers and classmates, and felt very grown up.

Thank you to the Grade 4 teachers for starting this wonderful new tradition! We look forward to many more years!
