Annual Support in Our 60th Year

Since 1966, WIS has prepared students to engage with the world — and the generous, annual support of our community has been essential to that mission. Like many independent schools, WIS relies on annual giving to meet budget needs, strengthen academic programs, and serve our community.

Our Goal: 100% parent participation by November 1.

Gifts during this 60th Anniversary year support:

  • A rich, inquiry-based curriculum that inspires lifelong learning
  • Financial aid that opens doors for students and families
  • Faculty development and training
  • Athletics to promote leadership and teamwork
  • Arts programs that encourage creative expression
  • International-mindedness, diversity, and inclusion (IDI) efforts across the school
  • Other key priorities as needs arise

WHo participates?
Parents, alumni, teachers, grandparents, and friends — past and present — come together each year to sustain our school and celebrate WIS’s enduring excellence.
does my gift truly matter?
Every gift counts! High participation not only fuels our programs, it also signals confidence in WIS’s mission, inspiring larger gifts and strengthening our school for the future. Even the smallest donations, when joined with hundreds of others, add up to extraordinary impact.
can i choose where my gift goes?

Gifts made during this 60th Anniversary year support three initiatives: completing funding for Le Centre Brown, sustaining programs through support for the Annual Fund, and expanding access through Financial Aid.

If you would like to designate your gift to a specific area, please make a note when giving. Financial aid gifts are best made through participation in our Gala for Financial Aid on April 11, 2026. For more information on the Gala, visit www.wis.edu/gala.

Is it tax-deductible and when can I give?
Gifts are 100% tax-deductible. Our giving year runs from July 1 to June 30. This year, we aim to secure much of our annual giving by November 1 to mark the 60th anniversary with a strong start. However, contributions at any time are welcomed and appreciated.
