The Admissions Team has developed a new virtual application process for the 2021-2022 admissions season and our Application is now available. As a first step, we recommend you complete an online Inquiry Form to request an information packet and/or schedule a virtual Information Session.
The Admissions Team is working remotely. However, we can be easily reached at 202.243.1815 and admissions@wis.edu.
We hope to speak with you soon!

Submit an Application and Application Fee (required)
Applications are submitted and managed through our online Admissions Portal. The standard Application Fee is $75; however, financial aid applicants (Kindergarten to Grade 12) are eligible for a reduced fee of $25. The fee for re-applicants (those who applied last year) is $50. Due January 5, 2021.
Complete a Parent Questionnaire (required)
The Parent Questionnaire contains five questions that are designed to help us learn about the applicant and your family. It is available through our Admissions Portal. It is helpful if the Parent Questionnaire is submitted prior to the Parent Meeting. Due February 1, 2021.
Schedule a Parent Meeting | Virtual (recommended)
An Information Session is the first step in learning about the school and admissions process. However, Zoom sessions simply can’t replace one-on-one conversations and we place great importance on getting to know each family. Therefore, we are offering the opportunity for a Parent Meeting (virtual) to learn more about your child and family, and for you to ask questions that may not have been answered in the Information Session. Parent Meetings are recommended and typically last 20 to 30 minutes. Parent Meetings can be scheduled through the Admissions Portal.
Schedule an Applicant Visit | Virtual (required)
Small group applicant visits will take place in January and early February 2021. Visits will last approximately 20 minutes and can be scheduled through the Admissions Portal.
Submit Supplemental Documents
If the applicant has been enrolled in a school or formal daycare setting, a Teacher Recommendation will be required. The Recommendation can be requested through the Admissions Portal and is due February 1, 2021. This requirement will be waived if the applicant has been at home or not attending a formal program. Evaluations such as the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI) are strictly optional.
Decision Notifications
Admissions decisions will be announced on March 5, 2021 via email and our Admissions Portal.
