Since 1966, Washington International School has offered a rigorous, immersive international education across two campuses in Northwest Washington, DC. Students begin with full language immersion, move into dual-language learning in English and French or Spanish through the IB Primary Years Program, and can add Mandarin from Grade 6 on their path to the IB Diploma. Our Primary School, nestled between Georgetown and Glover Park, serves Age 3 through Grade 5, while our Tregaron campus in Cleveland Park is home to Middle and Upper School. Through an integrated curriculum, the arts, and athletics, students explore widely and discover their passions, and with events from Celebration of Learning to Theory of Knowledge exhibitions, there's something for everyone.
