1966

Three four-year-old children attended the first "Little Language Class" in Dorothy Goodman's basement on January 19, 1966. When Dorothy had investigated educational opportunities for her children, she was unable to identify a school that offered the dual language education or international perspective she believed was essential. By the time the first full academic year began in September 1966, the school had found a new home in the Georgetown Lutheran Church.
