During their first weeks in the Upper School, the Class of 2026 engaged in a number of activities about what it means to be resilient. This started with their Summer Community Read, Ain’t Burned All the Bright by Jason Reynolds, illustrated by Jason Griffin. During Orientation, Advisory, and Seminar, they reflected on their own resilient experiences, culminating in an introspective maker activity in the style of Ain't Burned All the Bright.
We welcome you to browse our display of the students' powerful and provocative maker reflections on resilience. The work is on exhibit in the AAA Atrium hallway (the area connecting the Library Classroom and Alan Reese Design Lab to the AAA classrooms) through the November holiday break.
