Cathy Noon, Upper School Science teacher, shares: "In celebration of Mole Day on October 23, Grade 10 Chemistry students are studying moles and did several activities to test their knowledge. First, in conjunction with the end of Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month, I presented the students with a list of 20 scientists of Latinx heritage. In small groups, they chose a scientist to research and present to the class. Then, they drew a picture of their scientist in chalk on the sidewalk, and had to find the number of moles of chalk used to draw that picture. 

"Additionally, we spent time in the Alan Reese Design Lab making emotional support moles, as pictured below."
