Cathy Noon, Upper School Science teacher, shares: "In celebration of Mole Day on October 23, Grade 10 Chemistry students are studying moles and did several activities to test their knowledge. First, in conjunction with the end of Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month, I presented the students with a list of 20 scientists of Latinx heritage. In small groups, they chose a scientist to research and present to the class. Then, they drew a picture of their scientist in chalk on the sidewalk, and had to find the number of moles of chalk used to draw that picture.
