Deeper Learning with the PD Collaborative: Spring 2021 Workshop Series
The Professional Development Collaborative at Washington International School is pleased to announce the continuation of our online workshop series that will take place every other Thursday this spring, from April-May.
Titled “Deeper Learning with the PD Collaborative,” the series will commence on Thursday, April 15, 2021. Each workshop will focus on a pedagogical tool or strategy developed at or inspired by Project Zero, a research group located in the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University, and will feature a master educator from the DC-Project Zero network located in the Washington, DC, region.
All workshops will take place from 4:00-5:15 PM (US EDT).
On April 15, we are excited to launch the series with our first Spanish-language workshop, facilitated by Washington International School teacher Angèlica Guerrero, titled “Amplifying Student Voice in the Language Acquisition Classroom.”
The cost for each workshop is $40.00. Payment must be made by credit card at the time of registration.
Each workshop will be capped at 22 participants, who will receive by email the link to the workshop session two days in advance. We recommend registering as early as possible, as we expect each workshop to fill quickly. Registration will close at 5:00 PM on the Monday before each workshop.
The series will run through Thursday, May 27. The dates, topics, and leaders for the four workshops are listed below.
Registration links for each workshop can be found in the drop down menus below.
