Camps

About Our Camps

Camps are offered for children in grades pre-kindergarten through grade 5 during Winter and Spring Breaks. These camps are available to children for the entire week as well as per day. Camps are open to WIS as well as non-WIS students.

Holiday and gap camps cost approximately $340 per week, or $75 per day. Children bring their own lunches and are provided with morning and afternoon snacks.

Camp activities include field trips to places like Discovery Creek, the Smithsonian Mall, and Cabin John Ice Rink and daily sports.The children may take in a first-run movie at a nearby theater, go on a scavenger hunt, have a cook-out or participate in a in-school field trip with the Mad Scientists. They will also make brilliant and zany arts and crafts. Activities are well-paced, educational, enriching and just plain fun.

Every year during the Spring Break, students in grades 3 to 8 have the opportunity to go to the Mont Tremblant ski resort near Montreal, Canada, for a week of skiing or snowboarding.
