PDC Advisory Council

An Advisory Council has been formed that will meet three times per year to advise on: (1) the direction of the Collaborative; (2) further connections to organizations across the region; and (3) future funding sources. The eleven members of the Advisory Council are listed below.

Maquita Alexander, Head, Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School
Veronica Boix Mansilla, Principal Investigator, Harvard Project Zero, and WIS parent
Jefferson Burnett, Vice President for Innovation, National Association of Independent Schools, and a WIS Trustee
Laura Engel, Assistant Professor of International Education and International Affairs, George Washington University
Richard Hall, former WIS Head of School and current WIS Trustee
Heidi Hinish, Head of Gallery and Studio Learning, National Gallery of Art
Julian Hipkins, Global Studies Coordinator, Roosevelt High School (DCPS)
Clayton Lewis, WIS Head of School
Jim Reese, former Director of Studies at WIS and founding Director of the Collaborative
Cynthia Robinson-Rivers, Head of School, Van Ness Elementary School (DCPS)
Tom Tinsley, parent of a WIS alumna, local businessman, and co-chair of the DC-region Teach for America board of directors
