Various activities at WIS offer an important balance to academic work and a welcome chance for students to explore and cultivate personal interests. Primary School students paint, hone computer skills, or cook during after school classes (part of Auxiliary Programs), and have the opportunity to perform in the Primary School chorus or band, participate in Student Council, or join in various service learning activities.
Because our students enjoy demonstrating what they do at school, there are several different opportunities throughout the year to show parents what they have learned:
- Primary School Art Exhibits
- Celebrations of Learning
- The Grades 4 and 5 Spring Musical Celebration
- Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Movement Shows
- Primary School Band and Choir Concert
