Volunteers in Action

Volunteering and participating are sometimes one and the same at WIS. The marvelous chefs of the Grill Team at Tregaron Campus provide hot food, from burgers to salmon to chili, every Thursday at lunchtime. If you like to cook, the Grill Team is a great way to see the kids while filling them up with delicious goodies.

A tremendous amount of hard work and time goes into planning the annual WIS auction held in early spring. A major fundraising event, and a great party to boot, the auction is just one opportunity to get to know other parents while supporting a good cause.

At the International Dinner, an annual feast featuring foods the world over, hard work by volunteers allows other parents to sit back, relax, and get acquainted. If you like to cook and grilling isn't your thing), this event allows you to show your stuff!

Short on time and cooking skills? Volunteering at WIS can be as simple as a few hours selling clothes at the WIS Shop.
